Happy New Year! End of 2011 was a blur...sightings of STADJ crew from Costa Rica every other Saturday; to Madison Square Garden, from uptown W NY to downtown W between Thurs and Saturday, and to more than 50 DJ gigs per month every month like clock work! Oh! -- and we're proud to say we surpassed 200k fans at our FB page, thanks to all those helping us get viral (more than 150k fans "liked" us in 2011)!

What does 2012 hold? New residencies and new STADJ faces -- for sure, stay tuned.

Well into Fall 2011 we can say our 3rd quarter has started with a bang! Back to Madison Square Garden for the NY Rangers Oct 27th, anchored by DJ Nelly this season, as well as, off to Costa Rica's premier nightlife venue Club Gaira in Escazu San Jose for fist pumping fun spinning for 1,500 people every other Saturday for "International Super Model DJ Saturdays" starting Saturday Oct 22nd featuring our very own DJ Sierra on the 1s and 2s! Backed up by DJ EM and followed up by DJs Annmarie (Nov 19th) and Nelly (Nov 26th)! Stay tuned for Dec dates soon!

Today, September 11, 2011, 10 years hence... our crew -- very much alive, well and thriving -- remembers the multitude of the lost and each of their families on 9/11. Perhaps we as a world, nation, people; as a team working together to create something beautiful; as individuals striving to do the right thing; as human beings one and all would be where we are today without those sacrificed to 9/11 (and similar such avoidable tragedies befalling the peoples of the world daily), but, I doubt it. However much we try to avoid it, we are one and all shaped by our pasts. Without 9/11 we would not be as conscious because we weren't, enough to see that tragedy coming or to divert that tragedy from becoming our history. Are we -- are U -- more conscious?

May we not just remember 9/11; may we not just regret it; but, may we get WITH it people, and get ever more conscious; share our resources; if you have the tools, teach people to fish; stop peering on the 'other' with suspicion; there is room for all creeds, colors, and orientations. Time to STOP paying lip service with expensive monuments and empty speeches. Rather, use the resources to pick up the starving that become the radicalized. Rather, empathize with that total stranger and make room on the sidewalk. Rather, wake up and share the wealth. Rather, get accountable for not just ourselves but for others, for the simple reason that we are all human beings.

To make the world we share a truly better place...take stock of all the tangibles and intangibles that make you wealthy, and share some of it with someone else today, tell them to do the same, and on and on, each and every day from here on out.

Behind the scenes at STADJ studios in NYC and LA is about our team's full frontal commitment to DJ training and practice time. Once we select a talent that's our commitment for as long as she's on our board -- she can't help but become a seasoned DJ under our umbrella (perk, we never charge for training and we book our girls exclusively).

From the Step 1 basics on turntables and CDJs to effects, scratching and music selection we not only cover the high flyin techniques and ideas of DJ but go beyond by grooming entertainers and, last but not least, placing our newly minted DJ hotshots with our premium clientele from SBE's The Colony and Eden Lounge out West, to the NY Kicks, NY Rangers and W Hotels Group out East -- practice makes perfect! The Colony known for bringing the Hampton's to Hollywood and run by premiere nightlife scions, SBE, of Katsuya fame (and loads of other swank spots) hosts the hottest house party in LA every Wednesday. And POW -- we've partnered with them as of March 9th! Plus, look for STADJ at additional SBE spots very soon!

Now's the right time to introduce one of our brightest new LA-based DJ hotties -- that's right, check out our new DJ "It Girl" Miss Turnbo every Wednesday at The Colony! She's not only one of our sexiest spinners in LA, she naturally fits our bill of being a pro model with a reputable modeling agency, in her case Next Models. We love Next, one of our choicest NY girls, DJ Marybeth, hails from that venerable agency as well -- Welcome to the sexiest DJ crew in America Chelsea! There are a few new girls in the hopper thanks to our oh-so-on-it West Coast director DJ Ben Solomon -- keep up the good work Ben!

More March madness: launched Thompson Hotel Gild Hall Friday 3/25 featuring Kye and Nelly, and showcased an awesome new NY Knicks' band format called "Knicks Live" featuring Sierra on 3/7 for the Knicks at MSG naturally; launched Thursdays at tre chic Boom Boom Room at Standard Hotel and 1Oak Tuesdays featuring DJ Marybeth with Alexander Dexter Jones. Goes without saying we continue to be crazy about our long standing weeklies: W Hotels Group Thursdays downtown and Lexington, Lavo NY, and Avenue! Whoa, did we miss anyone?! ...thru a thicket of bi-coastal logistics we emerged with another singularly successful wknd -- this time at THE GRAMMY'S!

STADJ at the Grammy's was a team production. Special Thanks from start to finish goes out to: Erin, Ericka, and the whole Blue Flame/Ciroc crew for making this wknd possible; Ziv and Michael for pullin some strings behind the scenes; David Lee of destinationluxury.com for being a consummate pro (EVERYONE who ever needs/needed videography and photography is just daft not to hire him); our hotshot managers DJ EM, DJ Mr. Ben, and DJ Hohme who made short shrift of tight time tables over the course of 3 major events, 3 model/dj shoots, and 2 parties (just on the West coast); Joanna Krupa via Pole Position for joining STADJ crew at the DJ booth; The Colony LA and The Redbury for hosting us / inviting us to be Wednesday residents(!!!); and last but not least our girls who went wild woolly West -- Annmarie, Marybeth, Sierra and Nelly -- to deliver up the most p-p-pow Model/DJ shows and shoots by STADJ to date!

Here we are just a few short months since launching STADJ LA... and we're givin it -- fashion and music is served up on 2 coasts simultaneously Feb 11-13th!

For Starters: NY Girls Annmarie, Sierra, Nelly and Marybeth head to LA bright and early tomorrow morning to formally premiere STADJ in LA and demo our agency in action for 5 new LA Model/DJs in training. (Welcome STADJ LA trainees -- they're beauties one and all, represented by modeling agencies including Elite, IMG, Next and LA Models.) STADJ NY girls will headline DJ with special key performance by Grammy nominee Natasha Bedingfield!

The Main Course: STADJ is front and center spinning the official OK Mag/Ciroc pre-Grammy's soiree at The Colony in Hollywood along with the OK Mag/Ciroc VIP gift suites Friday and Saturday at The Redbury! Meanwhile, back in blustery NYC...STADJ girls Kye, Marybeth and Colleen will be serving up sizzling new sets for NY Fashion Week 3rd season in a row Wed-Sun 2/13 for W Hotels Group (WNY, W Times Square, and W Downtown), The Boom Boom Room at The Standard Hotel, Lavo NY and Avenue!

And for Dessert: Oh...a wee little BIKINIDJ (bikinis provided by A-Che) photo/video shoot Saturday by editor-in-chief of Destination Luxury David Lee thru the afternoon, followed by a night of collective STADJ East-West coast debauchery at My Studio! Last night NYE 2010 in NYC and Miami was a bona fide feat of all points bulletins, logistic engineering and last but not least female DJs throwin down -- STADJ girls Kye, Nelly and Sierra grooved the guests at Jean George's super supper clubs The Mark, ABC Kitchen, and Spice Market, while DJs Annmarie and Marybeth got 4 real at W NY and South Beach's luxest mega lounge, Mokai!

All the while, pounding the streets to make cables, time tables, and music ends meet??? STADJ's #1 DJ -- EM you rock, we love you!

Tonight Day #1 of 2011 (1-1-11) STADJ crew, featuring DJ Sierra, heats up the beaches of Port Au Prince Haiti, while DJ Nelly grooves the house of Lavo in NYC! From here to the rest of year with luv.

Some weekends just can't be topped, and this has to be one them -- Happy New Year & Decade!

The latest news is well worth a few juicy paragraphs -- STADJ goes bi-coastal with launch of an LA division December 2010!

Our NYC team's had a busy 2010 -- on the radar for near future premieres with the NY Rangers and NY Knicks at MSG. Keepin it real with regular weekly residencies: Lavo NY, Harrah's Casino, Jean George's Spice Market, Avenue, Kastel Soho Trump Tower, and others. Fortunately we can't begin to name all the gigs we've done here, but, hey -- over 300 clients and 500 shows later, most in this our year #2 ain't a bad start. Super clients took our teams trans-Atlantic and Pacific in 2010 for Formula 1 Malaysia/Mercedes Benz in Kuala Lumpur (featuring DJ Nelly), Persian New Year private yacht parties in Dubai (featuring DJ Kye), Bastille Day private events in Paris (featuring DJ Cassie Stevens), and Pelephone Musix Festival in Tel Aviv (featuring DJ Adi). Some great new girls joined our NYC crew in 2010: DJs Annmarie, Marybeth, Kye, and Sierra.We'd say 'Welcome', but, you've already been here burning up the decks for months now, so how bout 'Go DJ Go!' In June STADJ was picked up by CAA NY and we joined M&C Saatchi Global Sport & Entertainment for PR and marketing support. We've had some DJ managers join the crew: David Hohme, Ben Solomon, Brendan Fallis, and Steven "Chico" Cevallos, while old-schoolers like DJ Vikas and DJ EM were expecting that ;)
